ACTIVATE TRAINING FAQs
Important info regarding online and in person attendance. Please read through and let us know if you have any questions
or conflicts at least 30 days in advance.
- In order to be fully certified, Activate BEcome students must attend the entire training. Therefore, if you miss some of the training, you will have to make it up. The make-ups will be done with one of our Coaching Assistants, so there is only room for a small percentage to be made up. This is a Certification and not a training just to learn. We can't certify you if you miss part of the training without making it up. It also won't benefit you to come and go and make up pieces randomly, as the training builds on itself.
- If we have prior knowledge of an absence (30 days in advance), we can schedule a time to have you make up a small part of the training. This is an exception and only applies to certain circumstances. The training creates a safe space, and missing part of the training can also interrupt required exercises, which not only puts your certification in question, it affects the other participants.
- The makeup requirement doesn't apply to people who are already certified through Genius Unlocked; however, it's important to realize that coming in and out disrupts the training and affects the exercises. So we request that you avoid this whenever possible.
- If you decide to move your confirmed spot for any of the trainings in your program, within 2 weeks and the days leading up to the course starting. There will be a $250 rescheduling fee for the next training.
Training Materials:
- New Activate students will receive their training binder 1 - 2 weeks before the online portion of the training. If attending both the 3-Day and the 7-Day trainings online, you will receive the entire binder. If attending the 7-Day portion in Morgan Hill, you will receive the relevant pages for the 3-Day session with your binder. The remaining sections will be distributed at the live training.
Certificates:
-
Certificates are handed out on the final evening of training to those attending in person.
- If you are attending the 7-Day segment of the training online, your certificates will be mailed to the address we have on file after the completion of the training. Surveys will be sent out requesting confirmation of your mailing address and the name you want us to print on your certificates. Please be certain to complete and return those surveys as soon as possible.
